I am double degreed, a member of the Mid-Cities Music Teachers Association, and am a preferred Steinway educator. My home studio is located in North Fort Worth near the intersection of Western Center and Beach St.

I can offer a premium experience for learning music. I have been involved in music my entire life. What began in a childhood household with my Mom teaching piano lessons, evolved into a number of different interests and endeavors that play into who I am today. I have always had one foot inside many different doors rooms, and now I can confidently handle almost any music thrown my way.

After receiving my Masters in Piano Performance, I spent 3 years in the corporate world at a Fortune 100 company before finally “making the plunge.” That itch to play was too strong! Now I have been teaching and playing music full time for over 15 years. Classical music is the foundation for my beginner students, but they will eventually be guided and mentored to play, listen, and understand whatever path interests them. Want to learn to improvise? How about the depth of Bach, or all those complicated jazz harmonies? I can cover that.

Since moving into my current home studio, I have accumulated a nice inventory of various keyboards and stringed instruments, including the baby grand I grew up on!, as well as a modest recording studio. Students can feel free to ask me about that synth sound that Van Halen used. Or the orchestra that Led Zeppelin used without needing a single string player. I can show you that.

Music has unlocked so many memorable experiences for me. I am a better, wiser person for taking this journey, even if (at times) it can be difficult. It takes hard work! I would love to talk to you about mentoring you or your young beginner to reach their own musical goals.
